Macbrew

Macbrew is a theatre piece for families which brings together Shakespeare, British Sign Language and spoken English. Three characters based on the weird sisters of Shakespeare’s Macbeth meet in a café to recite an incantation from the play and summon the spirit of Shakespeare.

I was commissioned to undertake the costume design.  As a walkabout show taking place in cafe style settings the costumes were particularly important.  They needed to be dynamic, clearly represent character and be practical for walking between venues carrying all props.
