Today I started constructing some puppets for the second part of the devised piece 'Pupi'.

These puppets will feature in Scratch That Itch, a sharing event at Derby Theatre on Sunday 26th July as part of the DEparture Lounge Festival.

Based on the Shar Pei breed, this first puppet seeks to demonstrate the ridiculous wrinkly nature of these dogs - a feature linked to skin abnormality and disease.

He will be one of 5 breeds on show.
